Transport completed for a Medjet member from Long Beach, CA. The member was removed from a cruise ship after sustaining a syncopal episode (Passing out). Diagnostic testing revealed a cardiac dysrythemia which would require a pacemaker implantation that member requested to have completed at home. After initial stabilization, medical transportation was arranged to the member’s home hospital in La Jolla, CA for surgical intervention and rehabilitation.
